I am a mother of four children 4 to 14 years. One of my passions is advocating for children with autism spectrum disorders and I currently serve on the Board of an advocacy agency. I have a BS in information technology from Salford University, Manchester and an MS in Business systems Analysis and Design from City University, London in the UK. I worked for eleven years at a Fortune 500 company and currently am a stay at home mother. I have lived in South Africa, Nigeria, the United Kingdom and now the USA. I love competitive soccer, cooking and travel.
I am loving family life with two teenage children who enjoy travel almost as much as I do. I received a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester and have been treating young children in private practice since 1993. About 10 years ago I stumbled over the power of teaching coping skills to anxious children and am happy to provide an effective and supportive tool. Of course, the real story is that one day I was sitting in the dentist office waiting for my kids to get a cleaning when, possessed by some obsession, I scribbled out a young child’s guide to anxiety reduction. Then along came two friends to take it from scribble to software!
I am a mother of a young daughter who is the light of my life! I have a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas, and specialized in Pediatric Family Systems at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry. For over 10 years, I have enjoyed practicing as a licensed psychologist treating children, teens and their families. My passions are family, worldwide travel, food, friends, and physical fitness.
